Go Green at Work

What is a sustainable office? Sustainability, as defined in 1987 by the World Commission on Environment and Development, means “forms of progress that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.”

Do you recycle at home? You likely answered yes. Do you recycle at the office? well….. It is important to be mindful of recycling not only in our personal lives, but also in our professional lives. Ok, but how can I recycle at work?

Here are 6 easy ways you can go green. Just think, with a few minor tweaks, you can become green and your company can save money and energy too!

  1. Turn off electronics, lighting, and thermostat every evening – create a please turn off sign.
  2.
